Life - in the Entertainment Industry !

• We orkut, twitter and facebook @ the company. Social Networking is a form of expression – unrestricted expression leads to creativity, and we tend to keep it that way.

• The office grapevine does not exist. When somebody needs to talk to somebody else, they simply scream. Confidentiality can go to hell – we need SPEED!!

• Official communication is for stupid – if you want to get something done, move your butt – nobody has the time to read official mails

• It takes just 60 people to manage Delhi operations of a radio channel – manage clients, create spots, and put them on-air. And of course, entertain the entire city too!! You are the 61st :-)

• As no. 61, you are responsible for initiating communications with 120 new clients. You are automatically assumed to be responsible enough :-)

• The average employee uses 3.56 abuses per sentence. Currently the average is down to 1.43, as they get embarrassed of giving the wrong impression of “corporate culture” to the new kid-on-the-block. The average is bound to normalize sometime next week, when the new kid gets acquainted with the oldies ;-)

• Nobody wants to supervise you – it adds to their already overloaded “TO DO” list. You need to ask for supervision – repeatedly.

• Music is played full blast – and not just Mirchi, all radio channels – to stay ahead, we need to know what the competition is up to!!!

• Radio Jockeys roam around the sales floor, commenting how everybody is engrossed in work, and quiet (For a change ;-)).

• You now know that the other radio channel which promises “More Music, & Less talk” doesn’t do it because of love for the delhi crowd – the suckers don’t have enough advertisements to air !!

• While you leave the office, you see a swarm of people in front of the office. They have come to meet KATRINA KAIF & RANBIR KAPOOR. Unfortunately you cannot wait too – they are doing their job (and will be back before you know it, before their next release) – you have yours to finish.

• Movies are not fun anymore – Most colleagues have already seen Kites on Thursday, and are screaming out how Barbara and Hrithik die :-|.

But still... Life’s Good -- no, wait – Life’s getting better :-):-):-) !!!
